Not sure what you are expecting but if you have 5 cars for each pitch you are going to be a little short of space, 5m by 7m is not that big and if you have 1 car on there already you will not have much room for the tents.
Also if you arrive after Wednesday you will already have tents right up to your borders and no room for guide lines etc. Suggest if you have 5 cars you will require more than one space.
another thing is when you arrive everyone must all be in the same car, when you leave the campsite you will be given a pass and without one of those you can not get back in, so parking elsewhere you will not be able to walk into most campsite's.

Each campsite is different, the better campsites have improved security, the only time I was in MB you got a pass as you left and handed it back in when you got back, that system is still in use for TR and I believe Houx. It is much better that letting everyone walk through the campsite and is one of the reason I have used TR for the last 10 years.

MB is open to anyone, and on general admission you can wander through the site without requiring camping passes.

We have two pitches. The cars will fit but what I need to know is if we will be allowed to have more than one car on a pitch. Eg more car passes than pitches. This was ok the last few years in speedchills but not going through with a package this year. Obviously we will have enough entry passes and you can walk through any site once in as usual

cheersUnless they have changed their approach it's officially one car per camping pass. You can get round this on sites like Karting Nord simply by passing back your car pass to another car (I've only ever done this for pals on bikes).
In Maison Blanche things are much tighter because it's inside the circuit. If you arrive early enough for them to believe that it's your first time through the barrier then you could get more cars in than passes by sending camping passes back on foot but any excess cars would be stuck in MB for the duration. From Friday on I'd say that only cars that have passed back out through the gate and been given an additional coloured pass would get back in again. They did also used to look for the pass to be stuck permanently to the windscreen but I seem to remember that passes in recent years have been ones that hang off the rear view mirror rather than stick to windscreen (I could be getting mixed up with the Classic). Having a bike or an open car like a Caterham does allow you to argue that you can't stick your pass on in case someone steals it (God forbid that anyone would seek to get into a campsite without paying!!!)
Your problem is more likely to be getting parking for excess cars in MB. Space is at an absolute premium and a single pitch really only takes one tent and one car. Two spaces together just about allows a gazebo as well.

Access to MB is now much more tightly controlled since the OLD coloured camping permits were either photocopied or passed from car to car a few years back, so many people tried to camp/park caused MB to sieze up.
Now MB camping permits (1 needed per vehicle) and General entrance permits have bar codes on them and you are scanned in and out of the site. Once a permit is scanned "in" to the site it can not be scanned "in" again without being scanned out first so you can not copy/pass between cars.

Hi guys
I might be leaving this a bit late but i was going to try and get my camping permits today off of Tickets-2-U. I'll give them a call later but do you think i've left it a bit late to get two camping spots next to each other in Maison Blanche.
How well does the allocated pitch work, i would be arrive thursday afternoon/evening is this going to cause me grief trying to get my spot?
