On the way back though, gorgeous weather.

Worst "I want to show you pics of my car" thread ever! But seeing as you asked I'll be going in this again (stripes still on from this year) wink

Hopefully it won't overheat on the way down like this year!

LOL! It was supposed to ba a lucky omen - 95 was the number of the Racesport Penninsula TVR Tuscan T400R that finished 26 out of the 27 cars that completed the 24 hours of Le Mans in 2005. Didn't work though as we suffered a major overheating issue 50 miles from LM and nearly didn't make it there. We did get home under our own steam (excuse the pun) and without too much trouble.

All the problems were eventually traced, by TVR Power, to a wrong thread on the filler cap allowing air into the system and confusing the fans so they didn't come on and therefore the engine overheated. £12 part to fix it!

I will be boring and take an LDV convoy crew van as it's my first time. It will be under the theme of 'Convoy Support' for everyone else in something interesting. So if your broken down and need a hand, flag me down.

I will be going in my VX220, another mate will be going in his Elise S1 unless he has changed it for a tomcat or comp racer and the others will hopefully be in either a golf or a mondeo.

although hopefully without the snow and the roof.

That's what happens when the passenger decides to get out of the bloody car with key still in the ignition and slams the door tripping the central locking rage
Thanks for asking if I needed any help smile the best help I could of got was to leave my so called mate back in bloody France rolleyes But to answer your question, as I crossed over the road to the catering area I found a piece of stiff wire and within one minute the door was back open and we continued on our way home smile

I don't plan to take any one with me this year wink

My mates taken an S2K for the last 5 years. In about 2007 he had to wait for one of the lads to arrive from Bolton who he was giving a lift to. This lad then turns up late and with an abundance of stuff including pillows and "Big Boy" seat. It all got in.
