Electricity at Beausejour?
Discussion
Does anyone know if there are electricity points on the Beausejour site, and how easy it is to site near to them?
Had applied for Houx tickets as normal for next year, but the confirmation has now arrived by post saying Houx is sold out, and our allocations are in Beausejour.
Also, is it fixed pitch, or a free for all?
Cheers, Bradders.

OK, in follow up to this, I have received my booking confirmation letter for 2010, and after requesting Houx tix (x10), I have been granted Beausejour tickets instead - Houx is by all accounts full. I emailed to discuss, but was told that requests were taken in order of arrival, which seems odd, as my request was placed at 12:06am on the morning of request acceptance!
Anyway, why ask about electricity. Our group has been going for many years now, but missed out for the last 2 years. In the 5 years prior, we always located in Houx - so we know what we would be getting. This year one of the lads going (a long time visitor), needs a power source for a portable dialysis machine. He's had a rough couple of years, and was looking forward to making this trip his big return.
So, if anyone has a group of 3 minimum Houx tickets together that would be happy to swap / sell, then please let me know. The rest of the group will have to make do with Beausejour. The alternative will be to scour eBay nearer the time in the hope.
Cheers Bradders.

Sorry to hear that, Bradders. Stupid question maybe, but have you tried explaining this to the ACO? They may be helpful. I seem to remember that when I first started camping at LM there was mains electricity in Karting Nord which some of the RV users were hitching up to (unofficially, I imagine). KN has changed a bit since then, both in trackside access and shape so things may be different. Some other users might know more about this site.
Yeah, tried the ACO - emailed them as soon as I realised Beausejour didn't have electricity. They said that they could do nothing now, as all Houx plots were allocated.
Not sure an inverter will be OK for either regularity nor the length of the weekend, but I am currently investigating in portable genny's to see if they will be reliable enough. Thing is, if we can't get him there, a few of the others will probably drop out in sympathy.
Genny aside, I guess getting fleeced on eBay is going to be the only way forward.
Cheers Bradders.
