Do you think Kangaroo TV is too expensive?

How much do think it should cost to rent at Lemans?

Shame I couldn't use it outside the main grandstand areas, like Arnage and Mulsanne

It was £80 for the weekend last year, great for watching the whole proceedings but can get awkward if there are a few of you trying to watch. If you all chip in though it makes it worthwhile, and its great for keeping up with proceedings.

It's not the money - it's the range... I don't understand why I would want to use one whilst I was around the start straight complex where there is lots of big screens to watch the race progress on. Once I get out to the far out corners with no screens (or small ones - like Arnage) it won't work anymore...

I think to start with it wasn't available to view in the campsites. This put me and others off due to this being the main time to use them. No big screens to watch otherwise, it was great to check up on the race from the campsite.

This year I herd that they were viewable in the campsites. I hired one with a friend so cost shared 50%. Good gadget for keeping in touch with the precedings. I thought there would be more cameras per car and more people willing to have the cameras on their cars.

Also, thinking back I'm sure that text would come up at the bottom section of the screen, but it was too small to read on the Kangaroo TV monitor. A slight annoyance.


All in I think that it is a good unit and hope that it builds on what it has with more features/ more cameras etc...

Thanks for the feedback guys.

In 2009 we essentially had singal coverage for half the track...from Tete Rouge, to Porsche corner and Relentisseur Playstation. Anything after the Porsche corner and Relentisseur would not have recieved signal...including D'Arnage and Muslanne. The size of the track makes it incredibly difficult to provide full coverage. However we do plan to increase coverage each year (as long as demand warrants)

That said I would love to hear your suggestions on where coverage should be a priority.

But of you're at either of these corners watching the race, does it matter that the Kangaroo won't have coverage? Of course, if you're camping down there then I suppose it matters. We camped in Karting Nord in 2008 and couldn't get a signal which was a right pain. I missed this year, but of in 2009 we have coverage in the Tetre Rouge campsite then I'll be ordering.

Just to make a good point for KangarooTV. I couldn't travel in 2009 due to an operation about 2 weeks before the race. I emailed the Kanagaroo centre and explained the issue as I've prepaid at 2008 rates. They refunded no questions. Unlike Eurotunnel or RAC I might add!

Watching the race yes, but it's nice to get the live places update and the Radio Le Mans.
