Have reserved 2 pitches side by side at Le Houx site...

The booking agent has asked if I have any requests of where to be/ location and not having any previous exposure to Le Houx wondered if anyone could suggest tips to me and of course possible requests to the ticket agent?

PM me if you like!

Cheers

hi, we camped in houx last year & were suprised to see a lot of the pitches were flooded, we ended up on a raised grass area & even that was quite waterlogged! the normal tent pegs just slid straight back out of the ground anytime the was a gust of wind! luckily we had taken some rock pegs with us & they managaged to stay in the ground!it is a very good site though, pretty loud at night though!

If you can get a couple of pitches which aren't right by the road that would be good - can get dusty / muddy otherwise.

Under the trees can be OK, but there are lots of tree stumps and other hazards which can be a pain - it's largely a case of pot luck with those pitches.

I'll be on Houx again next year, although looking increasingly likely I shall be making the journey alone this time!

Don't suppose there are any spare Houx tickets amongst you all?

Hi
I was in Houx last year pitch 745 it was like the Somme trenches had to keep getting cardboard from the bins to lay on top of the mud rest of the pitch was covered in brocken glass! spent ages clearing it up before we could pitch the tent
it was worse than that wet year at BJ don't get disheartened the site was great just the pitches next to us the toilet and showers were good and great access to the track good crak compared to a lot of the other sites except 745!!!!!
