Just had a look and got the same price returning late Sunday, that is the cheapest return fare I have seen in 27 years of Le mans trips

Wow, that is cheap, although I'd have to get from Plymouth to Dover first!

I think £200 direct from Plymouth is still the best bet for me or maybe £230 from Portsmouth once you factor in the petrol.

LDLines were doing a good deal Portmouth - LeHavre, I'm using there fast ferry

Not as cheep as Dover but considering Petrol/Tolls and the extra driving both ends

Anyone know the deal on refunds or cancelling a booking?

I've no idea if I'm going or not next year, it's going to be a last minute decsion either way but I'd love to snag a cheap ferry deal just in case.

Have to look at the small print to find out, or give them a ring

Maybe you can't but you can change the ferry dates/times for a small fee
Then have a trip to France/Paris another weekend (Take the GirlFriend, don't tell the Wife)

Norfolk Line £28 LD Lines £51 return, but Dunkirk is 75 km further north than Boulogne so that's 150 km extra return in our gas guzzlers!!

Thats why i didnt bother this year.

The extra time and fuel costs outweigh the saving in ferry ticket price. Plus gthe convenience of crossing times, and ferry journey times.

It's a great road trip to the greatest event on the planet.

I can't believe this offer for two reasons.

1. It's cheap for cars (£26) all in all for 2 people in a standard car.

2. It's BLOODY expensive for a motorbike (£128) all in for ONE person on a single motorbike.

What the hell is going on? Is that normal?

Damaged the exhaust on my TVR Wedge when I went to the last LeMans Classic, despite me telling them the car was low and them assuring me that it would be OK!
