I think some more checking might be needed - there is reference made to green cards and, AIUI, you don't need a green card unless you're travelling outside the EU. I would want to be sure that I was carrying the most current documentation needed.

I do recall getting an accident related form when I did apply for a green card some years ago, and I've probably still got it somewhere, so will try and dig it out and see what it says.

Surprised there are no references to such a form on the AA website for example.

Taking a photo is about the only solution I can think of.

It is carbon copy one for each driver and a back copy (I think) - Having had an accident in France it is necessary as the Gendarmes checked mine.

I've got a few copies in the glovebox as I get one each time I ask for a green card.
