Alrite chaps.

Have any of you bothered booking 'Priority loading' on your ferry trips?

is it worth the extra? is there likley to be queues at 10:00am on wed, and 4pm on Mon ?

Looking to travel with P&O.

Considering the length of the journey coffee lounges etc arent really worth the extra,

How was your experience with the priority loading though, was it worth it ?

We've done 'priority' for a few years now, on the busy boats it means you can get to the bar/lounge first and grab a decent table, then once you arrive 'en France' you can disembark quickly sometimes saving up to around 30 mins

I take it if you're looking at P&O its likely to be Dover Calais? If so, I don't think it really gets you that much of an advantage at either port - there are that many boats going out at that time of year that they tend (in my experience) to cram everyone on reasonably quickly. Might still be a nice extra though, providing the cost isn't silly.
