Hi chaps,

i know this is late in the day for this but our rag tag collection of mates have just decided that instead of having a year off they'd really like to do the classic this year.

i've been looking on the net and have seen camping tickets available for 100 ish, but i thought that the face value of these was nearer to 50 (apologies if i've got this wrong) so just wondered if anyone had over bought on the camping tickets. not fussy about which site etc.

regards

paul

You can get them direct from the ACO or the tourist office at cost price.

However in 2008 the amount of camping tickets on E bay with a couple of weeks to go at below cost price if you can't get what you want wait untill closer to the time or turn up and buy a camping ticket on the gate, you might not have the best choice but you will always get something. The best campsites are available to clubs only at the moment, but these are usually the ones that appear on e bay with only weeks to go.

TL have a comprehensive camping at a Chateau and all race ticket package.
Includes the best grandstand, paddock, VIP parking and pre-erected tent etc.

Failing that, I think they have camping on circuit available too.

I'm already booked up as I like being organized and don't risk fleabay.

We're working with TL on our Classic tour as they have the best combination of value and service we've found up to now.

having said that we're going via Spain to add a little extra fun to the getaway!

Whilst not everyone's favourite site, there was lots of spare space in Beausejour last time, there were so few people the showers were too hot to use!
