I think they're camping by the Porsche curves, not on a slope, but a site with drainage. I believe the site was acquired by PCGB last year from the ACO 
Still a bloody long walk up to the pit area / Dunlop bridge and the Guinness tent
No problem walking into Arnage for a few beers though

If you've ever been a member of PCGB you know your only allowed to congratulate everyone on what a wonderful job they're doing
Criticism is not allowed or they delete your posts
did you ever see the thread about engine failures on the PCGB forum?
they kicked the poster out of the club as there is no problem with RMS or intermediate shaft failures
But thats why Porsche Gb subsidise the club by the tune of £100,000 per annum

We removed it earlier on today after receiving a few e mails from all sides! We love working with clubs, but sometimes things are best left elsewhere.
Basically, if PCGB want to promote an event then I'm sure they can do so on their own forum to great success. No hard feelings towards anyone though, and PH is sorry for any upset caused.

The 'Viper Club America' sponsors don't like criticism either, dare you question their prices or find a cheaper supplier, your thread will be deleted and you get a warning Criticism is not allowed or they delete your posts

I was disappointed to learn that the previous postings on the PCGB 2010 Le Mans event had been deleted, but having seen Garlicks post I fully understand and accept the reasons.
The catalyst must have been when the moderators learned that the wife of the initiator of the previous thread was posting messages in support of her husband and issuing insults to those who had dared to disagree with her , or decisions of the PCGB board.
I should emphasise here that I have never camped with PCGB , nor do I intend to .
Initially I was simply pointing out that having seen on many occasions what a deluge of rain can do to flat campsites at Le Mans with cars up to their axles in mud, I was surprised to discover that PCGB had left the site they had occupied for the past few years which was ideal being situated on a gentle slope , and moved to a flat site.
From what I understand it seems that the decision to abandon the original site was motivated more by an altercation between the PCGB board, the previous organiser, and a company providing camping packages, as opposed to the acquisition of a new site for the benefit of club members.
This aside, the fact remains that PCGB members who decide to camp this year on the new site will be hugely disappointed if it rains.......... which it probably will .
To conclude, I am not convinced that the board of PCGB have acted in the best interests of club members on this occasion.

It would be a pleasant surprise if the Chairman,or a member of the board of PCGB , or the PCGB organiser of the Le Mans trip posted on this forum to answer some of the queries raised.

Or is it in fact that the PCGB board/Le Mans organiser and his wife consider it beneath them to enter into constructive dialogue ?
Or indeed have they been ordered not to by the Chairman ?

Well when I come back, will let you know from the event.
I am camping at the PCGB 's new site, lets just all wait and see what happens.
I am looking forward to it been twice with the club 06,07.
We had a great time, and it was safe for my boy and I.

They may think you're digging a tunnel.
I'd suggest trying to dress as a marshall and just walk out the front gate, you should at least have the papers to get away with that one.

First post and hope you chaps can help me
Just got rid of my Range rover and got my self a cayenne turbo for popping down to the country to bag the odd brace of grouse and the like super old thing but I do miss the cabinet for the purdey's I used to have in the holland and holland rangey
Also just got rid of the aston for a 911 turbo
Sort of mid life crisis caught the wife in bed with the tennis coach so got rid of them both

Found myself a new filly, very energetic racy little thing
She fancies a trip to the sarthe, tells me she has been before when she had something to do with a sun tan lotion company, some sort of PR work but must of been very important as she won't go into details

The filly tells me what a great time she used to have , loads of champers and how incredibly friendly you all were to her you all wanted your photo taken with her

Same here I waited years to buy my dream car,but some people at the event did not like my old 911.
I got some funny comments but its my car sod it.
As with all clubs not everyone is the same. I joined for the Le Mans trips and car shows.
I did have a good time at the event with my son twice and it was safe, for us and my car. Which is why we are going again with the club.
Not everyone who has a Porsche is OTT rich either.
There is a Porsche for everyones pocket and taste.
