Anyone else camping here?

I stayed here in 2005 and it was great. This year i never even considered anywhere else. During the weekend it was a great base, nice village, everything you need. Close to enough to the circuit to be able to keep nipping back if you want to get a couple of hours kip. No dheads either on the campsite although it ultimatly lacks the circuit campsites atmostphere.

No. But looks good. Are there many le mans fans who camp there ?

I guess five years things could have changed however, how i remember it most people were race fans. There were a few brits there too. Not over crowded at all. The other campers were respectful of others and the staff helpful.

I stayed there last year, A very nice small site, Green grass Firm ground right by the side of the river. Its a quite site which I'm sure some people would like. BUT you do have to drive back and forth to the circuit. which means you cant have a drink Its a safe place to stay with the owner of the site always by the entrance in a caravan overseeing things and keeping an eye on security. there's a nice clean shower block too. Its not a site for fireworks and parties though and its further from the circuit than you think. The site was not full, even on the Saturday!
One thing you have to be very careful about is the drive down to the town and onto the site once you come off the main road. the rule Priority from the right comes into play,this means cars drive out straight into the side of you and it will be your fault! this can catch you out, so be careful

If you have a low car as I do, there was no problem getting in and out of the site, it was all very civil and no pikeys.

Looks/sounds nice but too far from the circuit for us, we're in the Houx this year
