Funds are tight this year and LM24 has to be done on a budget due to the final throws of a house build and the SWMBO has her hand on the purse strings. My plan is to travel down late Thursday and take the veg oil powered MPV (not very PH/Le Mans I know) and kip in the back on the Friday night after taking in the driver's parade. Last year I was kindly taken to where you could watch the action for free off the circuit and I intend to return to the same spot with my beers and radio.

I have a low cost crossing with Norfolklines (thanks Boolay for the tip off about the code) and am taking the pushbike as parking can be a problem closer to the circuit. If one person is interested in joining me I will probably stick to my original plan, however I can comfortably take 3 in total and would then consider camping subject to getting hold of tickets.

If anyone just wants a lift down on the Thursday evening and coming back on the Sunday night get in touch.

I in Welwyn, Herts.

I may have a spare ticket this year.

As soon as I know, you would be most welcome to it, and a seat in the car if you can stand a few hours of crap music and very basic humour.
Plenty of room on our pitches as I generally sleep in the car and don't take a tent.
Will keep you posted if interested
