Le Mans commentator ? help me put a name to the voice

totally random question but here we go

last year there was a guy that joined the commentary booth (motorstv or eurosport i'm not sure which now) for a few hours, he sounded like Michael Gambon

he was very knowledgeable and really came across as a voice of wisdom on Le Mans and motor racing in general. he was a real joy to listen to

any idea who he was?

Neville Hay? He has a very rich, old school broadcasting voice. He has done some of the overnight work on RLM in the past. A lovely chap, very knowledgeable and a fantastic source of humorous stories from the old days!
