Ooooh, the fair's moved
Discussion
When the fair was previously down near the esses, they used to have a rather interesting attraction involving a number of very attractive young girls, who demonstrated all sorts of aerobic type dances while their clothes fell off on stage to loud music. Unlike the other attractions, you didn't get a ride, but you kinda wished you could! Anyone else remember it and, more importantly, can you confirm its return this year? The best 5 euros I ever spent, I recall.

:cough: Guiness Tent :cough:The last time I stayed in Tetre Rouge would have been around 2003 and there was part of the fair there with the most annoying bloke on a tannoy running a ride where you freefall over a big fan. You don't go to LeMans for a quiet night, but this bloke needed a thump. That year someone wrote of a new Range Rover when he hit a tree doing about 50mph in the campsite!
And for the record, at LeMans years ago they even had the 'worlds fattest lady' tent!

I remember the french chap with the upward fan, I think someone had told him what to say in English but he had no idea what he was actually saying, and was therefore informing everyone that he and they indulged in some very dubious sexual activities.
It was funny at first but after a few hours you began to think of how to shut him up. That year he was about the only part of the funfair left at tertre rouge and there has been nothing but food/drink stands since.
I always enjoyed the shooting galleries which actually gave you shot guns with real cartridges (not very powerful but still real). Big bertha the large lady died about ten years ago it was reported in many of the national papers in france.

I remember the shooting gallery too. It was definitely live ammunition shotguns! One year I saw a pissed up fella wearing a vikings helmet swinging this gun about all over the place. The fellas that run those stools were not to be messed with, so luckily I didn't see what happened to our viking!
