what hook up do i need ?

Our lm24 campsite has electric hook up. Dont laugh it is needed for a ventilator for my mate. What do i need to hook up to the campsite mains point?

The electric outlets take normal French domestic plugs. Normally people plug'n'play extensions and multi-blocks of various types so having a UK plug and a French adaptor should cover all bases.

We use the electric hook-up on Houx for our camper van, not sure if this is where you are staying but for Houx you will need a converter for the UK plug to convert it to a 2 pin plug

We picked ours up from Towsure but guess you could get one on ebay

If you can get a splitter so you can plug your cable into the mains socket on the site without disconnecting someone else then so much the better.

Not if you're planning on hooking up to the power supplies in Houx, or in most campsites with proper outdoor electric hook-ups.

Not if you're planning on hooking up to the power supplies in Houx, or in most campsites with proper outdoor electric hook-ups.

We use a converter thing that goes in the big round blue thing and has a standard Uk plug on the other, then a froggy converter.

Although if you arrive after Wednesday night you will probably be hooking up with a neighbours supply rather than from the main hook-up point as they will already be taken. Last year we had our neighbours plugged into our extension lead in the campervan

That is the connection to connect into the main electrical points on the site, then you connect your normal electrical supply lead into that

ETA: There are not very many hook up points, a couple of years ago we used over 20m of supply lead to get the power from the hook up point back to the van
