try these guys, my wife got me one as a birthday present a few years ago. Taken it ever since and is excellent quality.

We've got couple of 6 footers, zip tie the flags to them, no problems over several trips

Go to Carfour or similar and buy a Carp/roach fishing pole, they come arange of sizes and prices, dont use the last couple of sections, Goes back down to a reasonable size for transport.
From a slightly different perspective: A mate of mine was a BT Engineer and a keen angler - he used the BT telescopic poles as Roach Poles...
