Public Transport Nord Area
Discussion
Staying in the Nord area of Le-Mans this year could not get the hotel near Arnage not a problem for Friday + Sunday night as we tend to go into Le-Mans old town on these nights instead of Arnage but looking at getting to and from the circuit itself during the race as i do not want to be driving like to have a few beers.
How far are the trams from here within walking distance or would i need to catch a bus to them ?
Would there be a bus from this area to Arnage ?
Cheers Gaz

If your just the other side of the motorway near Saint Saturnin then your nearest Le Mans bus stop is the other end of the Auchan supermarket underneath the motorway. It's about 1 mile. Bus route is number 08. Buses to town run from 07.02 until 21.18 on Friday & saturday and from town 06.30 until 20.46. (BUT NO BUSES STOP AT AUCHAN ON SUNDAY).
You can get on the tram at Prefecture where the bus terminates.
For Arnage get on an Espal or Antares direction tram and change to number 21 bus at Saint Martin. (You can use just buses but this might be an easier change)
For circuit get on Antares direction tram to end of line.
Try the journey planner on the Setram website:

On the left hand side you can download complete timetables for the routes you need.
Hope this helps.
