Insurance advice - Converted Rover 416 into a pick-up!!

Every year I go to Le Mans with a bunch of mates and we set ourselves stupid challenges for the cars we take. Last year we did a 'banger challenge' and this year we're taking last years bangers and converting them to pick-up trucks!!

So...I am now the proud owner of a Rover 416 pick-up truck. The problem I am having is finding some reasonably priced insurance for it as it's a 'custom car'.

Can anyone could recommend an insurer??

You could try giving MSM a call.

I used them to insure my Westfield and they were always helpful and they actually understand cars, so they may be able to find a suitable policy for you.

I tried Adrian Flux but because it's a pick-up the only insurance company they could find to insure it was a Van insurer and they quoted £750!!

I'll give MSM a go though.
