WHO IS HEADING SOUTH FOR CLASSIC LE MANS

As suggested… in the title and in an other thread.

We are travailing from Edinburgh on the Wednesday down to Portsmouth. Think we will be going down via

A701 (it is more fun)
M74
M6 (picking a chap at Keel services)
M40
A34

Think we will be looking to leave Edinburgh about 8:30 – 9:00am

Need to make the 8:30pm ferry.

Would be good to hook up with any one else going down. We are going down in MKII and a XJ6 Jag’s

My driver (The CPA) is coming down from Aberdeen to my place in West Sussex with the 1937 Roller and Rover P5b, although he's likely to be bringiong the transporter for the roller for that bit so it wouldn't be much of a convoy!!

I'm not sure when he's coming down as we're leaving my place on Thursday, so probably Wednesday, I'll have to check my instructions to him!!

I'm sure he'll appear to respond to this!!

We are on the 11.00pm ferry from Portsmouth on the Wednesday so MDT you should be well on your way before we pick up M6, J26 - Caterham 7.

Probably doing the Aberdeen to Creepy bit on the Tuesday, to allow a bit of time. The Rover has not been for MOT yet and has been off the road for 20 years, the Rolls has the front axle off and no exhaust....

If it is the Weds when we travel, look out for a P5b following a MAN 7.5 tonner with BIG pictures of old cars on the sides.....
