Le Mans at home - what have I missed.

Not going this year so we're having the alternative at home.
So far we've got the important things.
Small marquee for the garden.
Flat screen.
Eurosport on HD.
Long satellite feed leads to extend everything to where we want it.
Speakers and amp for audio.
Laptop for online timings and Le Mans radio (assuming they're broadcasting online again).
2 x BBQ's.
Stack of food including frites for that authentic Le Mans experience.
Beer/spirits for the lads and some sherry for the girlies.
Scaletrix track - and Peugot / Audi / Aston Le Mans cars.
Patio heater with new gas bottle.
Plenty of seats, tables.
For the kids
PS3 with racing games.
Top Gear Track times board for laps round the Ring.
WII with lots of games.
What haven't I thought of apart from going for a couple of hundred mile trip before getting here, some dust and putting up a tent (now there's an idea)

Orange dust for sure, plenty of it
Empty your garbage bags around the lawn just for effect
A beer bottle pyramid, large as possible
Paddling pool, seen as though your allowed one!
Recipe for that tartiflette stuff, as you never know when you're very drunk at 2 am it might seem like a 'cracking idea' to make some
...then arrange for some 'traveling folk' to pop round Sunday evening to steal everything!

I would suggest asking your next door neighbour if they could run a generator next to your tent constantly for 24hrs, and maybe towards the end of the weekend get fireworks and launch them at random (but under no circumstances skyward) from scaffold tubes, before setting a huge fire, chopping down trees in your garden if required to fuel it, before throwing on beer kegs. Lastly they could empty dustbins all over your garden and drive over the contents as fast as possible to give you that authentic Sunday night at Beausejour feel.

Did that actually happen? I'm glad I stayed at the track the whole time

it's worth a visit if you stay Sunday night, just don't pitch your tent :wink:Mayonnaise for the frittes,
Some really tall flag poles with flags of course,
Remove all sign of toilet paper, and buy squares of tracing paper instead,
cover your car with much dust
and also get some really crusty french bread - the stuff that will make your gums bleed!!!
