Houx pitch - What are the electrical arrangements please?

Have a numbered pitch in the middle of a group of pitches and wondered what I should take with me in order to be able to plug in. On the site plan there is a little coloured circle in the middle of each block of pitches. Do these circles denote the leccy power point by any chance? I have one right next to my pitch. Do I need an extension? Converters? Type of plug I need to connect to the compound leccy? Responses greatly appreciated.

You will need a standard camping 3 pin blue/white male plug,or a euro 2 pin home adapter to 3 pin GB and about 20 meters of heavy duty cable.I cannot comment on the red dots without a link to a pic.the electric points are about every 2 lines of pitches and attached to lamp posts, but this may have changed since last year as they have erected new fencing on the roadside perimiter old wall,if your a bit late you may need to take a splitter with you,but remember to plug other peoples plugs back in and possibly gaffer tape the plugs onto the post,then just daisy chain from tent to tent using extension reels.if your on your own i would possibly just take an extension reel and offer beer in one hand and 3 pin plug in the other,we will be in houx with the NETVRCC and so if your near us you can plug in with us guys for 36 bottles of kronenburg a day....kidding

Bloody he'll Spud 36 Kronenburg a day, that's cheap! That'll only last you an hour or so. Lookin forward to hooking up again you boootiful racin driiver!

The outdoor plug is just what you need and would be ideal,i would imagine the coloured dots are water and electric points but these are only about 10 meteres apart usualy,20 meteres will be ok if you can get a female blue/white plug to euro 2 pin adapter that would give you an alternative choice if its fully wired up http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/EURO-MAINS-HOOK-UP-CONVERTER... this type of thing.Just taking another look at your site plan, from previous visits i would say that the blue dots are water and the yellow ones are electric points.

Many thanks Andrew, I think I've got it sussed, other than having to load 20 mtrs of cable (along with everything else) into the tiny space that is the back of my Sagaris!! Wish I could find shorter cable as my pitch is no.858 and looks like it backs straight onto one of the yellow circles. Thanks for your help and hopefully we'll catch you there for Kronenburgs.

Excellent, can't wait. What ferry are you guys on? Sounds like there will be a great collection of TVR's at Houx. Richard (Track v Road) and a few of the WY gang are heading down in convoy, so between us all it should be a barrel of laughs. It will be my 1st time so have little idea what to expect.
