TomTom ITN for the drive down

Does anyone have a ITN file for the drive down taking in the good roads from Calais to Le Mans (e.g. N138/D438) - otherwise I imagine I'll just get sent down the Autoroute, or if I select 'no motorways' will end up taking 17 hours through every French village possible.

It's not that hard I guess once you know the way, but I'm not looking forward to negotiating Rouen again.

My TomTom Go gives the following for Calais ferry to Maison Blanche

Fastest with tolls 4hrs 29mins 283 miles
Fastest no tolls 5hrs 41mins 275 miles
No motorways 7hrs 29mins 266 miles

You can find the settings for toll road preferences someway in the change preferences area

Sorry, should have said that "no tolls" has the effect of keeping you off the A28 after Rouen, ie on the old 138/338 whatever it's called now.

I've got a couple of different routes down as .ITN files . .. PM me and i'll send em over to you . . . We're doing another new route this year . .

We've tried all sorts of routes through Rouen and now have one we're pretty happy with along the river leading onto the N138 for the traditional route down . .

I'm working in sunny Scotalnd for a couple of days, but will be back to my laptop Wednesday . .

Is it worth taking the old route to avoid the tolls? We wont really be in too much of a rush!

Taking the old route is entertaining, a nicer drive, more bars, frites stops on the way and generally more relaxed. An autoroute blast is about £15-£20 in tolls given my tag summary from a few years ago . .

The autoroute is for when you want to get there, the old route or other routes are for when you want to drive there enjoying the scenery/ambience/seeing lots of other exotica in a better surroubnding than the motorway services. . .

I'm going to be taking the old route there and back, we tried it last year but it rained and there was hardly anybody on the 138 so we jumped back on to the autoroute.

What does everybody put in their sat nav as the destination of the campsite?
