PistonHeads/ Le Mans 2010 Photo Competition
Discussion
PistonHeads has teamed up with Le Mans Series organisers to offer one lucky Le Mans going PHer the chance to watch the season finale at Silverstone, by entering our unique photography competition.
We want any PHer who is making the pilgrimage to this year’s Le Mans 24 Hours to submit their favourite photograph from this year’s round-the-clock event at La Sarthe....the one you feel best captures the ‘Spirit of Le Mans’, be it cars, people, beer or bikini girls
.
The 'spirit' of the 24 also runs through the Le Mans Series (LMS) as a whole - a championship comprising of five 1000km races at the best tracks in Europe - that culminates at the Autosport 1000Km of Silverstone, held on 10-12 September.
The PH snapper who submits the best picture (chosen by the team here in the PH office) will win a VIP package to the Silverstone race, including the chance to watch the drama unfold alongside one of the top teams, as you and a friend watch the race from the team garage. It's a great opportunity to take in the action from track level and fully embrace the Le Mans atmosphere, as well as enjoying full LMS hospitality.
All you need to do is upload your chosen picture from the 2010 event to this very thread either from Le Mans itself or when you get home. The closing date for entries is Friday 30 July 2010
Please ensure we can e-mail you through your profile, just in case you win
If you’re not lucky enough to win the Le Mans Photo Competition, you can book tickets for the event by visiting http://www.silverstone.co.uk/events/Le-Mans-Series...

It won't be judged on photographic excellence (although being able to make out what it is would help) instead we'll be looking at the subject matter.
It could be a great night race shot, some pit lane action or your mate lying drunk in a ditch - it's up to you. We'll decide by choosing the picture that gives the feeling of Le Mans the best (in our opinion) and captures the spirit of the event.
I'm sure we can rustle up some runners-up prizes too

Can I ask that any shots by Shady at or of the RWR campsite are disqualified? It could be a great night race shot, some pit lane action or your mate lying drunk in a ditch - it's up to you.
