Does anyone know if there will be any way of getting online at Le Mans?? I had planned to use mobile broadband on the phone but understand its HUGELY expensive!

Phone has Wifi but couldnt find anything relating to whether they'll be any form of public broadband???

Cheers, Mark

If you have your home broadband with BT, you may be eligible to use FON hotspots for free, I have recently set this up. If you google FON, they have a world map with all their hotspots on.

yeah, we used it last year. 5mins from the circuit, you can buy a 1eur pack of chips and use it for as long as you want

Would it not be possible to buy a 3G Pay and Go SIM and stick €10-€15 credit on it, and just use that for internet? Or is French mobile broadband expensive and hard to get at short notice?

I am with Orange and have bought a packacge for my mobile dongle. £10.21 for 10mb data over ten days in France and Spain. Same package on my Blackberry. I can increase the package by calling them

You can buy, from SFR for example, a 3G dongle.
The French PAYG SIM with credit loaded wouldn't last very long according to a conversation I had last week in French France.

Maccy D's it is!
