Blaging it in a Camper Van

If we turned up in a self contained large camper van with nothing pre booked what would be the best places to blag it for the duration of the race, bearing in mind there must be car parks that are open to the public throughout the event? We don't need toilets or hook-ups just somewhere to park, has anyone any ideas or experience of doing it this way?

Back in the 'old days' (late 80's) we did it a couple of times with a 6 berth on Garage Verte and Houx, but you have absolutely zero chance of getting into an official site without an appropriate pass these days. You might get on Arnage or Indy - but then you have a bit of a hike, of course.
