Just picked up and loaded the hire car (1.9 Skoda Octavia Estate - nice one National Car Hire), early night tonight and off to Dover at 7 am sunday morning for 1 pm LD Lines crossing.
The 2010 Le Mans trip is go go go !!!
PS Never driven an automatic before so if you see a Skoda Octavia Estate kangarooing towards you - move!!

Things have gone a bit frantic here. I gave the car a pre-stickering wash yesterday, but daren't sticker up until Tuesday evening before I leave as I'm going in my daily driver (sadly) and have to park it on the street. Suddenly realised how much random stuff I need to take too. Ah well, in 48 hours or so I'll be onto the fun part!

Leaving for Plymouth ferry in 2 hours! Then Top Gear style road trip from Spain through the Pyrenees and up through France. 4 days, 2000 miles.....all in a 16 year old Ginetta G33

I am now in Beauvais in the B and B hotel well on my way to Le Mans, Dieppe tomorrow night, then Rouen on wednesday night then Le Mans thursday lunchtime to pitch tent in Bleu Nord
