Flights into Le Mans

Is anybody aware of any airlines that fly into Le Mans airport direct from the UK, I know drivings part of the fun but need a quick in and out.....

Reminds me of a mate Ed in 2006, who turned up on the camp site fully suited and booted with a briefcase. He came straight from a meeting, and flew in. Quite a good start to what was a great year.

Tours is the nearest airport you can get a commercial flight to, I believe.

I'm sure i saw a small BA aircraft there last year - tbh even if there was a scheduled service it would probably be full.

Might not be the most cost effective way to charter a jet down there but there are some that would - just for the Bling factor

If you get caught by les flics going fast enough, the jet might be cheaper....

Last time I looked Ryanair flew into a few places within a couple of hours of LeMans, maybe have a look at their website and arrange a pickup or Train/heli transfer?

There used to be a poster called boredpilot who used to rent a small plane to fly down in each year. Haven't seen him on here for years.

Ryanair Stanstead - Tours plus 1 hour drive
Flybe Manchester Rennes plus 2 hours drive
Flights to Nantes from lots of UK airports plus 2 hours drive
Southampton to Angers plus 1 hour drive
No International flights to Le Mans

ryanair flight from stanstead to tours got the wife on a one way on the 14th an itys only 20 quid watch what baggage you have cos thats the dear bit
