Complaint about the campsites

I would like to complain.
I stayed on Maison Blanche, and whenever I went to the toilet they were always clean and stocked with toilet roll, and whenever I went to have a shower it was always hot and powerful.
Do these people not understand what Le Mans is supposed to be about?
Overall though, was impressed this year with the organisation! With the 'normal' sites being this good, I'm certain the premium for 'Private' sites isn't worth it.

Beauséjour was a bit of a curate's egg but given the torrential rain Friday night it'd be hard to see how they could have kept the toilets much cleaner. Bog paper seemed to run out but had our own. Showers? No idea, we took one of those too but the public ones seemed to have rather a lot of steam coming from them so I assume they too were good.
My only criticism would be not enough toilets on the site and at the circuit. Some of the dark corners, walls, trees etc were absolutely rank from being used as ad hoc pissoirs.

moi aussi Houx Annexe was cleaned regularly and showers worked all the time... how should I complain. My Lemans experience was further destroyed by the Aston Martin VIP passes we were given

Lots of friendly Brits there. But no eager pistonheaders to much of my dissapointment, considering my large interest in motorsport. Seemed most were there just to say they'd gone there...with a routemaster, for example...

I went every night at 8pm straight in!
Toilets were great too,fully stocked with bog roll too.
Speedchills were excellent again.
Generally good humour about the place - bar the one or two inevitable a-holes that seem to inflict themselves on strangers wherever you are in the world - well tended facilities, edible grub, cold beer (bit more Bitter next year please boys 'n girls), friendly and efficient security.

that certain brigade arrived back a couple of hours ago after catching a 5:30 am ferry from Dieppe... absoloutly shattered.Bleu Nord was quite different....
Aside from being among the main Club Arnage group, we also had Drinking for Holland and The Brethren to contend with.
Showers were cold on Friday as there was no gas, and as for 'trap' toilets, I made better use of the cleaner facilities at SuperU in Arnage when shopping or at the track (ACO buildings)

I disagree some were keen I went to the track with lots of people I bumped into on the campsite who were keen although, fair point though too many people not very interested, you should have come over to chat to me had a big enough pistonheads smilee on my bonnet!

I stayed on Bleu Nord as well. The loos on the entrance were well maintained, but I have never seen the main facilites on Bleu Nord.Showers were cold on Friday as there was no gas, and as for 'trap' toilets, I made better use of the cleaner facilities at SuperU in Arnage when shopping or at the track (ACO buildings)
We were in Zone F near the fence to the car park so we went to Maison Blanche for the showers which might be even a shorter walk from some plots. We did the same last year when we were in G

Until I pulled the plug out
We stayed in Beausejour and were happy with the showers and toliets, my only compliant was the lack of toilet seats! There was some tracing paper in there but from previous expierience I always take my own.
Did anyone here see the the black vectra attempting to do some "doughnuts" and end up in the ditch on Sunday evening?

The showers (the one I had on Sunday) next to the PH site were hot enough.
The only minor gripe (which I knew was coming) was the usual "Burn all your worldly possessions" game on the Sunday night - was funny for the first 20 mins - but when bottles of petrol and gas cannisters are getting thrown in, not to mention the fumes from the 3 sofas I saw go on it really is a message of "Brits abroad." I was just glad we were camping upwind of it.
One of the bogs in Houx Annexe even had a toilet seat and bog roll was always available. Showers hot ever time I used them - this level of comfort is clearly not acceptable and you can rest assured that I will be writing a strongly worded letter to the ACO to ensure that such luxuries are never seen again. Le Mans? it was more like the Hilton.
Well, it was my first time at Le Mans, but have been camping for years on 'proper' sites, I was really impressed with the sites (I had a walk around on Friday!!) - I was on Tetre Rouge, always hot water and toilet paper, but then I did get up at 5.30am one morning so as not to have to queue!! I can understand people want more of a festival feel, but I think the mud from all the rain that we had was enough to make you not want to have to have too dreadful toilet/shower facilities... Looking forward to next year already!! (but am off to the British F1 next month camping so will be interesting to compare the two experiences!!!) At the moment just trying to catch-up on sleep due to being next to the fair and the concert stage....!!
Sounds like Houx is now getting to be one of the sites with the poorest facilities
Main bog blog smelt like a septic tank on most occasions when I wandered in there, and cleaning was 'occasional' at best. But the showers were hot, even if the queues were long.
The other portacabin bogs were cleaner, but the showers were cold. And the new bog / showers down by the Peugeot 'pavillion' were clean, but it was too far to walk for a shower.
Not sure what there was in the way of facilities near the entrance.
But considering it's one of the larger sites, for which you pay a premium, the facilities were marginal IMO. It's certainly not significantly better than, say, Houx Annexe any more.
