Tetre Rouge Bar Closing?

I went in it for the first time in 8 years on saturday night. To be honest, not a great loss, but glad I ticked the box if it is to go.

You are only saying that because you went in on a cool year! Nothing better on a scortching hot year than slipping in for a pint, decent steak/chips and some shade after a few hours spectating in the sun.

Don't worry, if it's "going to be knocked down" at the same rate as the football stadium and surrounding roads are being built, you've got a long while yet

Anyone else in there watching the game on Sat? 2 tawts that wouldn't leave the table that someone else had reserved. One tried to slap the landlady as she kicked them out and half the bar ran out to smack him one!

IMHO it would be a sad loss. I've spent many many hours in the 'Stella Bar' as we call it and have some great memories (albeit somewhat blurred by said Stella) of long afternoons spent in there. Don't reckon they will knock it down as that's been the rumour for 3 or 4 years now.

There's been talk of this since I first went 9 years ago... It would be a loss, but there are places. I personally normally go there Thursday night for the sounds of qualifying and tend to avoid for rest of weekend...

Presumably the bulldozers won't have moved in my the weekend; therefore assume that the Bar will be opened over the Classic - anyone know, will be heading up to Tetre Rouge at some point & would be good to know that beer will be available up there, maybe also showing the GP on Sunday?

I very much doubt anything has happened to it in the last few weeks.
They were showing the Canadian GP on the sunday at LM
