John Fitch interview in the museum on Thursday afternoon
Discussion
We were wandering round the museum on Thursday afternoon, admiring the very comfy looking seats in the Ferrari 166, when a rather aged gentleman was escorted past us. I spotted immediately who it was, from the recent programme about the 1955 crash, and it was John Fitch.
He was being interviewed for what looked like a DVD being made about Corvette at Le Mans (didn't see any Eurosport bods there), and it was fascinating standing there listening to his tales from the 1960 event, especially since the class-winning No.3 Corvette he drove was right behind him.
If anyone has any clues as to who was making the DVD then I'd appreciate it, as I'd like to keep my eyes open for a copy when it's released.
The no 3 car was over from the states. On the corvette laps b4 the race, it was John Fitch driving the no 3 car. The car and John Fitch were also at st saturnin and the parade. The film crew came over from the states to document the cars return to Le Mans and it's reunion with John Fitch at Le Mans
