A sad day for the 24 hour race

Yesterday, at the local court, Pescarolo was adjudged bankrupt. Henri, who holds the record of 33 appearances and 4 wins, sacked last year by the new owner Jean Puy said in an interview that "he didn't like doing business with gangsters". Let us hope that he can resurrect the team which for so long has supported the tradition of endurance racing. He has so promised.

i thought he said that he didn't want to race against a diesel team that had such a massive advantage against a petrol team

the ACO will keep on trying to change the rules, but the diesel engines keep on getting more powerful and more efficient

A shame indeed. The Radio Le Mans interview last Monday was quite telling.

I'm glad he came to the race though, and not fly fishing.
