Anyone camp at the Travel Destinations Campsite?

It was great. They had a '24 Hour' happy hour promotion running on all beer - buy one get one free.
A double booking at a local hotel meant that 25 of the grid girls ending up staying on the site, on the Saturday evening.
Not only was the entire site fenced off and very secure, it was also fully carpeted.
Plus there was karaoke until 4am every morning.
Other than the karaoke you didn't miss anything
I am a PCGB member but had to make the decision to go with TD as at the time I had to pick my annual leave dates TD had a package on offer; whereaas PCGB was in a state of total confusion.
It wasn't something I did lightly but I can say it was even better than previous years on the site.TD were also able to offer larger 7x5 pitches by having a few premium portacabin type facilities for those willing to pay for a secure room and a proper bed,thus making the numbers add up.
The TD team were fantastic and kept asking how we were and there is a real enthusiasm to improve next year.On arrival we were greeted and presented with a goody bag with some sweets,bicuits,a bottle of water and a TD Le Mans 2010 souvenir mug.There were more toilets,decent,warm showers and an outside sink and washing area for doing your washing up.The only food on offer were Continental breakfasts and snacks,leaving one free to come and go as they wished without feeling guilty about not supporting the club catering as a means to finance the rest of the package.The feeling was that a bacon sarnie would be good so the catering side may be expanded next year.
We had a marquee with wood floor,a tv,a bar(4 euros a pint)
So to sum up it was an excellent package,if anything better than when the club was involved.I certainly didn't miss the unpleasant political shenanigins than took the edge off 2009 and as of now,reading about Little Big Horn am leaning towards TD again in 2011.
