food/beer prices

I'm assuming the food/beer stands at le man classic will be the same as le mans. so can anyone give me an idea of the prices are like for food/beer etc...

1 euro for an Ecocup (can be refunded if returned)
5 euro's for a beer (have to have an ecocup though)
something like 12 euro's for a pizza

7 euros for a beer and food is expensive and st (compared to your typical festival) which was dissapointing.

only expensive at the track, better to buy at Leader supermarket near the Antarres tram stop.
Food was very expensive this year at the track, 6 euros for a half baguette.

ok so basically avoid buying much around the track, i've never been before so wasn't really sure what to expect, i'm used to food prices at silverstone classic etc, but the beer was never that much!

I worked out that beer at the track is about 10 times more expensive than buying at supermarket. 6-7 euro for 50cl beer Inc Eco cup.

Yep, I worked broadly the same thing out too...

With our varying tastes of stubby beer bought from Carrefour, we were averaging out at about 60 cents per 50cl - that is in comparison to the 5-7 Euros you would pay for the same amount at any of the circuit vendors.

However, is it worth 10 x the price just for being cold? Depends how good the weather is

As for food, an "American Steak" (think foot long baguette stuffed with hamburgers and chips) was 8 Euros, as was similar fayre, like my personal favourite, the Kebab Frites.

If you are basing your diet on the above though, please do ensure you have easy access to comfortable toilet facilities and ample volumes of Andrex.

You can afford to buy a cool box for 12 euros and plenty of ice at a few euros a bag to keep the beers cool with the amount you'll be saving by not buying at the track.

That being said, we still bought plenty at the track as well as drinking at the campsite!!
