What are requirements in french?

I know they are stricting on stuff, so I have been reading up and here is the list of things I think the french police want. Can you let me know if I have missed anything?

Spare bulbs and fuses.
Headlight Beam adaptor things.
You MUST take photocopies of your insurance, vehicle registration documents, MOT etc. as you may need them at customs and definitely if you get stopped by the police.
You will need both parts of your driving licence with you.
Worth noting the drink drive limit is less, 50 mg where as ours is 80mg.
Money for tolls.
Oh and don't forget your passport

Bulb kits are supplied with new cars as they have been mandatory for years. BUT I have never been asked to show a bulb kit when stopped at a roadside check by the BIB. Just put some spare bulbs in a plastic bag / match box what ever don't worry to much. I'm off out this afternoon in a car that I have not fitted with a bulb kit, just watch I'll get pulled and a 35 euro fine.

With my Cappo I have triangle under the passenger seat, hi-vis folded behind seat (it has to be in the car) bulb kit under the spare, lot of space under spare for bits and bobs.
The BIB are really only interested in excess speed so unless to cut out your speed restrictor that won't be you.

Photo copies of docs is not good enough you have to carry the originals.
Be safe and carry Hi-Viz for all passengers including driver. French roads are not lit (only in towns and villages) and no way if you broke down would you want anyone on the hard shoulder or on a country road they would not been seen by other drivers until it was too late to do anything about it.
Although I do not think it is law it is well worth carrying a ‘Car Accident Report Form’ (they are in French Hire vehicles).

Required = 1.
Nice to have = per-passenger.
Jacket(s) must be carried in the passenger cabin, NOT the boot and in the event of a breakdown must be put on BEFORE getting out the car and as such you need one for each person getting out the car. If you are trucking along with a car full of mechanics, they will probably all want to get out and 'help' if you break down so need a jacket each. If your passenger(s) are...less technically minded you only need one for yourself to look under the bonnet while your passenger(s) phone the AA from inside the car.
2) Bulbs mandatory - but law just states you must have them, not that they need to fit your car...
3) Warning triangle must be "easily accessible", i.e. on-top your luggage in the boot so you can get it out as soon as you stop, not under it so you have to unpack the car at the side of the road to get to it.
I got stopped on the way back as I think they were just picking random Le Mans cars to question the drivers. Got asked for driving licence and V5. When getting the V5 out the back of the car I purposefully got out the tow rope (not sure if needed), red triangle, jump leads (not sure if needed) and hi viz jackets just to save on time. Also asked me if I'd been drinking to which I replied "not since yesterday" when it should have been "not since 4:30 this morning" but felt better of it.
