That's the way to do it!

I'm on the P'mouth-LeHavre fastcat on Thursday with a few other Hampshire TVRs.
Looking forward to the event, and hope to make the Friday bash at Arnage.

....I'm heading South on Monday to a gite South of Tours...drink a little wine and chill!!

Heads-up for the A28 and I expect the D338, plod will be lurking! Spoke to the Team Lang'ne boys coming back from the 24H, and 3 were pulled for 170km/hr (so not hugely fast), - 750 Euro on the spot & 6 months French ban. Beware!

Meeting up with a few others at the euro tunnel on thursday morning. Only ever been to the big Le Mans once, last year, and this is the first classic i will have been to. Cant wait!!

Still you'd expect that in the UK as that's 105mph+

Which crossing are you on? If you are at Dover around 7:30am Thursday and see a red Griffith, say "hi"!

Leaving Dover Tuesday morning on the LD 5.00 am ferry to Boulogne in a 2 car convoy, one AK Cobra and a Ford Focus. Taking a leisurely drive down sans motorways, tolls and major roads so will be seeing some of la belle France before arriving at our Gite for four days R and R before the racing.

Can't wait although I'm working tomorrow.

Cheers,

Tony

Serviced the 944 (not mine) we were going down in last week. Had a coolant leak on return from goodwood Friday. Was going to investigate yesterday and.... it won't start. It isn't the ECU as we swapped it with mine, suspect crank sensors, so as my 944 needs a belt service we'll use my Jag S-Type.
He has owned the 944 for 5 years & never a problem, now this! Maybe it has a thing about driving on the wrong side of the road or something biggrin
