I tried to get there Friday. But because it was during testing times, there was no way i could get there because of the roads being blocked of and cars being diverted. I was in the BN camp and i spent 45 minutes driving around like a blue arsed fly trying to follow the GPS co-ordinates to the meeting point. But every bloody road i had to take was blocked of 
So i drove back to the camp site really pissed of

We got there about 1:30, and left at 4:30/5:00.
Had a great time, and saw a load of people and cars.
The food was actually very good, the beer better, and the waitresses...
As for getting there, either way round from the north works - via Arnage, or via Change.
Either way, was a great little meeting

They may have had the same problem of getting there.Le Mans is largely a street circuit you know, so trying to drive down the Mulsanne straight or the run from Mulsanne down to Indianapolis / Arnage to get somewhere probably isn't the best idea. Sat nav likes those roads though as they're the quickest and shortest ways between the parts of the circuit you'd like to visit. Only been a couple of times and not for 5 years but I didn't find it that hard (did do a few circles on the way from Mulsanne to Arnage on Saturday night though - sorry to the group of Porsches that decided we must look like we knew where we were going and followed us).

We found it by just pure luck....headed in the rough direction, guessing at every round about and turn, until I saw a church in the distance which I remembered being mentioned on here. Very nice food and the cold beer was welcomed, just a shame the heat reduced my appetite

We stopped and asked one of the officials at a road block the way to Mulsanne. Then we just kept driving, taking diversions, whilst Sat Nav kept recalculating routes. Was easy in the end

Did you have a good time otherwise? Got your paddock passes ok?
Next time just wang it round the roads, and let Sat Nav keep recalculating a route for you. You'll find one in the end that works - as we did. You can't go far wrong. I knew that there must be a way there, given everyone else was going
Other than for this, if in doubt in Le Mans - always head for Arnage. All roads seem to lead into and out of Arnage

I did "wang" it for 45 minutes like i said in my OP. And we did go far far wrong, just one big circle that was like ground hog day. I wasnt the only one, i spoke to a couple of PH members on BN who had the same trouble as i did.I guess it largely depends on which location you originally started from. I could not get there from the BN area, not without local road knowledge any way.
Totally love the paddock thing, so cool to see all the cars up close and personal.
After all the trouble i had buying paddock tickets, they had a bloody box office selling them right besides the paddock entrance
Yes we enjoyed the paddocks especially in the evening when it was much much cooler.
Though i still found quite a few louts on the camp sites, and the french attendants were rude and inconsistent. But yes i give it 8-10 because of the paddocks. I did prefer the atmosphere at Goodwood FOS that i attended the week earlier.
Will i go back to the classic?.....Only if i stayed in a hotel, i missed my regular Le mans campsite (Terta Rouge)
