No Porsche club camping site next year!!!!!
Mysterious leaks have appeared on the PCGB forum announcing there will be no campsite next year, no reasons have been given but members will know that like being a member of a secret society members should believe what they are told and not ask questions
The LEmans organisers email address has been withdrawn and no comments can be made for fear of jeopardizing the cllub for financial reasons?
How bizarre you may wonder especially considering for years the camping had been organised so successfully and one would assume at break even by 'Bob of the curves' mysteriously last year he wasn't invited to organise the event as Mr Fowles allegedly a friend ofthe then chairman took over the running of it.

PCGB members had best pop onto the forum quick before the secret police moderate the posts afterall members know that somethings they should not question well remembering the committee know best and somethings they do not need to know

Must dash before my body is found hanging from blackfriars bridge for having broken the secret

Its actualy seemingly more complicated than that - It's back on again!

Placed my deposit with 1st Tickets for the trip yesterday

PCGB trip is great, but they do seem to be able to make a crisis out of a drama....

Always good to get ones facts correct before making a post. The event was extremely successful last year and enjoyed by the majority of the members.

If you want the facts please read my post under Porsche.

Fair play to you. I was fortunate enough to visit your site at the Porsche Curves this year and it was extremely well organised. The post from Henry Firman in the Porsche section confirms my understanding of the profitability of your event (i.e. you came out in the black)
Without wishing to open old wounds - maybe you should have realised you were up against it when you took over the organisation of this event... the previous organiser wasn't shown the greatest of respect!

There is something about the higher echelons of these car clubs. I retreated from the Ferrari Owners Club after a single subscription - much preferring the general and less elitist attitude of Pistonheads.
