Are there any official dates for the Le Mans classic race next year?. Ive done quite a few 24 hour le mans trips and fancy a change next year, also its our 25th wedding anniversary over the 24 hour weekend so looking for an alternative.

Do not despair Mick, there are some other great Classic events you can visit in 2011. For example:
1. The Spa Classic in May is a new event and it's being organised by the same people who organise the Le Mans Classic so you can be confident you'll be seeing high quality cars and racing.
2. The Oldtimer GP at the Nurburgring in August is a huge event and thoroughly recommended. If you like Le Mans you'll love the endurance races that take place on the the combined GP / Nordschleife.

Feel free to get in touch if you want any further info on the above wink

Well seeing as I appear to have booked some time off work right around that time, it seems rude not to go and check that out !!

Probably need to start planning my excuses for SWMBO now though... wink

Nick, I found out some bad news yesterday; the FIA Historic Formula One Championship (1966 - 1985) will not be there now frown

The good news is Boss GP (Formula One Championship for 1990s single seaters) will be there instead bounce

Good luck with SWMBO hehe

To be honest, the F1 cars were the least of the reasons for going, but the BOSS stuff is usually pretty interesting to watch.

As for SWMBO, luck don't enter into it !! Seek forgiveness, not permission !!*
