Le Mans 2011 shirt preview

PistonHeads is pleased to announce our collaboration with Gulf Oils for the 2011 Le Mans shirt

The shirt is not yet available to buy and some subtle changes may still take place (only in terms of the size of design for printing), but this is the first chance to have a look at the new design.

The figures on the back show the circuit length (KM) and the fastest lap of the circuit.

We did ask the question, but sadly couldn't get permission.

Never mind, we like the older cars as they have such great lines.

Would have been nice to include a tribute to the passing of Tom Walkinshaw, something to note the passing of a British 24hr legend, but understand how it may be difficult to include in the design.

It's actually a navy blue to fall in line with Gulf colours, and I'm afraid its the only colour to be offered this year.
