Brilliant driving in the last half hour from Pagenaud.

McNish and Audi still causing bother for the Peugeot team even as a backmarker lol..

Entertaining race !

Brilliant race and some great news for Le mans fans, apart from a brilliant performance from Oreca the pugs had problems and the new petrol powered Highcroft HPD proved to be capable of matching the diesels.

Do we think that petrol cars will be in the mix a lot more this year? Seemed at some stages that the diesels were gonna run away at the front. Great run from the highcroft car considering the limited track time they have had.
I hope the petrol cars win more this year, imagine aston martin winning the 24.

Its a good sign for the petrol cars this year! Can we presume the Aston will be at least as quick as the Highcroft?

Initially, no. The HPD ARX-01e is the result of several evolutions of design, the AMR-ONE is brand spankers. Saying that though, they are both the result of a CFD design process, the HPD being the work of Wirth Research.

This pretty much sums up Sebring 2011. Le Mans would be so much better if it could get back to this kind of vibe. No rain, no barbed wire, no morons, minimal French, lots of beer, good food and friendship - and an awesome race that you don't have to break the law to see up close.
