Being a member this year, I was having a look and see I can book my tickets to be delivered to me here (UK) in advance - it says on their website that they are dispatched from March onwards.

I've always bought my tickets there on arrival, usually with a mate having bought the car parking in advance to pick up.

I am a little wary of the Frenchies sending something in adequate time - have others used this service and all ok?

How far in advance do they usually arrive?

Sorry to sound anal, but we usually leave this to another friend but he's pretty useless and last year we ended up with three cars in different car parks. Don't want to pick up the mantle and cock it up myself!!

No need to be concerned about security etc if tickets are bought from the ACO. They are sent by UPS, FEDEX etc and require to be signed for on delivery. ACO start sending tickets mid April usually and this will be completed by mid May.

If all you need is a GE ticket and nothing else at all, you can rely on purchasing these on the gate rather than beforehand.

As I say I've always got the GE on arrival, but my mate seems unable to arrange three car-parking tickets!

Yes, separate car parking tickets are difficult. When you think of the number of people there and the number of campers too, then there's not realy sufficient car parking facilities to meet the full demand, hence the need to get them early!

No it just makes him a tit! More so when he's in the ACO also and in nearly twenty years of going hasn't worked out how to pre-order...

I've had tickets a few times from the aco, no problems so far.
If you but your ticket on the gate don't forget your membership to get your discount.

When you buy tickets from the ACO website (which is awful) you click on the small down arrow next to the name of the colour carpark you want and then choose the actual car park itself, I bought 3 the other day and have for years, they usually turn up in may iirc

RAAARRRR - it says that I can't order them as I don't have credits on my account?

Very frustrating.

Sorted now, not to worry. Poxy French website!
