I am going first time this year, and was advised yesterday to get a grandstand seat, as my mates went a few years ago and it pissed down. I have another thread on here and have been told they do not all have facilities (wc/bar), also to get one facing the pits. Where would you sit. I have looked at a plan and there seems to be lots of them.
Is it too late for a good position. Where also to buy from??????

Team Langoustine.
I have been with them since the start. Brill people and one of the cheapest.

Still some available direct from the ACO via their website...why pay more than cost price plus postage?

Personally I don't bother with a grandstand seat. Instead we collectively pay for enough ACO memberships for to cover our group to get everyone in to the ACO Club areas. Granted you don't get a grandstand, but you do get some nice facilities, food, bars, big screens, power sockets - and allegedly last year free wifi. It served our group well as it's an easy place to base yourself (one of our group had young kids with them) without huge queues for drinks/food. Also as it's under cover you have somewhere to hide should the rain come down.

Which membership do you go for to get that?

Done it, result, gave Team Langoustine (thanks for the details) a call after checking their web site, spoke to Andy there who seems to know all about the race, nice bloke as well pity we cant get on their site.
We went for Lagache, seemed a good deal, all seats together and my group now stands at six of us...typical when one person decides to sort it every one wants to go. So Ive stumped up for all of us...now to chase for money.

Im glad I decided to go this year, didnt realise how easy it is to book it.
Just waiting for our TL t-shirts to arrive.....
