Does anyone know if like last year you have to purchase a ticket in advance instead of at the gate ?

in the past that was the case ,then they started to charge at the gate. Last year you had to have purchased a parking ticket in advance place was consequently empty. 2 cars in our party were refused entry I got in with a confusing array of the last 3 years parking passes.

We normaly get to Arnarge around 1am, never paid to park in the field 100m on the right past the corner.

MB camping passes are in the windscreen which I guess helps - but not had a discussion, always been waved through.

Can't remember ever having been charged. Campsite sticker in windscreen usually gets checked but that's about it.

I thought last year they had introduced a combined mulsanne/arnage parking ticket, in line with the other car parks.

Yup, combined Arnage/Mulsanne parking ticket is required, I'm afraid. You can try without, and might get lucky, but can't imagine Le Mans race w/end without the corners, so after 2 years ago when it was introduced, and got turned away, not risking it anymore. Had one last year, pre-booked one for this year, and they are only €8.

Talking about people making a fast buck, we usually watch some of the race from the karting pits roof, a good view of the exit of the Porsche Curves. Never anybody there to check tickets except for one year when there was somebody there collecting 5 Euros from everybody. Never did figure out whether he was legit.

Pretty sure the Arnage / Mulsanne ticket only applies for the Saturday and Sunday, and that the parking down there is free on the Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

That goes for every car park and grandstand I believe. Except general entry.

WE HAVE ALWAYS MANAGED TO PARK AT ARNAGE/MULSANNE ON THE RACE DAYS WITH A TICKET PURCHASED AT THE GATE BUT NOT THIS YEAR. APPARENTLY WE NEEDED TO BUY ONE AT THE MAIN GATES.SO PARKED UP ON ROAD AND ENDED UP WITH PARKING FINE AND NEARLY GOT TOWED AWAY BY GENDARMES. SO SPENT MOST OF THE RACE WATCHING FROM HOTEL ARBOR ON THE SECOND CHICANE ANDWALKING INTO MULSANNE VIA THE TRADING ESTATE AND PARKING IN THE STREETS AT TERTRE ROUGE.BUT REALLY MISSED THE ARNAGE/INDIANAPOLIS COMPLEX AS THATS WHERE WE NORMALLY DO MOST OF OUR VIEWING. SO WHERE DID ANY OF YOU BUY YOUR TICKETS.
