Having owned my 2004 navara for ten years now I am looking to modernise. Looking at probably another navara or a mitsubishi L200. But open to opinions on other makes. Has to be double /king cab. Looking at sort of 2012 to 2015 ages. Any opinions anyone?

Cheers sandy

I've had two Ford Rangers(2000 and 2006) and think they were best available at the time. I'm not so sure about the newer ones, they look too complicated to me although I haven't driven one. My daughter has a newish (62 plate) Izuzu Dmax and it seems one of the best of the newest types (they all seem to bulky and complicated to me).
I don't know how you got on with your Navarra but a couple of people I know had them and hated them, most other makes that my friends and neighbours have had, they've sworn by them and remained brand loyal.

If you are looking at one of those have you looked at the Great Wall? The equipment looks amazing for the price, they are really popular across the Asiatics and in Africa. Build quality is supposed to be more the adequate. The only criticism I've heard leveled at them is the engine and gearbox designs are some what antiquated.

Isn't the Amarok the most car-like and refined to drive?

Do the D40 have chassis rot issues or have I got the wrong end of the stick?
