Freelander 2 / Discovery Sport

I'm looking to purchase Mrs BH a Freelander 2 or Discovery Sport, She is a little wary on a Discovery Sport as too new with two young children and not a good commute with narrow country lanes so wants not too new fragile etc.

She has always wanted a Freelander, Then Freelander 2 so I'm starting to think maybe a late last of the FR2 so she can have a car she has always wanted but not too new etc.

I'm based near Windsor and notice most are with independent traders, Can anybody please give me some pointers or are they pretty much sorted as last of that shape plus can anybody recommend a good dealer or specialist ? Within 30 miles (happy to go further if worth it)

Can't comment much except to say that the DS is a step up in almost every regard - except perhaps interior; where later, high spec Freelanders; it could be said, are nicer inside. Whichever you go for; an approved used from Land Rover gives 2 years warranty as standard; double that of other marque dealers and their approved used offerings - so I'd be inclined to go main dealer if possible.
