Ok so this is my first post on this site so go easy haha.. so basically I'm looking at getting a different car pretty soon and I'll be 21 with 3 years no claims so I'm not that bothered about insurance cos I can insure some pretty extreme cars but struggle to get insurance on a cooper s mini.. so I'm open to anything and I'll check the insurance for it.. I've currently got a 5k limit possibly 6.. I'm looking for quick hot hatches with a 0-60 below 7 maybe just above with a lot of modding potential.. I've seen loads of topics like this but can't find the right answers so would like to hear some myself.. thanks in advanced if I've missed anything please feel free to ask questions thanks!
No matter what you get, check the insurance. I had a Megane RS265, and with no changes to my policy whatsoever (even with 4 years NCB!) It went from £600, to £1400.
I'd be looking around at insurance. That, among on other things were the reason why I swapped it in. I would be looking to get something like an Abarth Punto, or a Leon Cupra R.
I swapped the Megane in for a Fiesta ST, and even amidst the 80hp deficit I prefer the FiST.

I think you have the wrong site for that kind of thing.
Hardly. Just because I swapped a Megane RS for a Fiesta, doesn't make me any less of an enthusiast. But seeing as I was spending £300+ on fuel a month, just to be sat in traffic. I was planning to use the Meg for track work, but decided to get a dedicated track car, as fast on track doesn't mean comfy on road. And to be fair, as a daily driver, I prefer the Fiesta. Better stereo, decent keyless, much better to run, just as fun (most of the time) cupholders that actually work and can fit more than a single amoeba in.
Don't get me wrong, the Megane would leave the Fiesta on track, but I'll be getting a dedicated car for that, and a comfy daily.
