mk7 GTI, focus ST or audi a5 2.0d

as stated in the title if you had 15-16K to spend and the choice of the 3 what would you get?

i do about 20k miles a year so the sensible side of me says go with the audi but then the other half of me is saying go with something a little quicker.

my insurance is a lot as ive only been driving for 2 years for the st and gti im looking at around 2.5k a year and only 1.5k for the audi

obviously i can get a second hand st for cheaper than 15 so theory is that extra money could go on insurance, the gti however i cant butt its also a better car...

what would you do?
