Yay? Nay? Was replaced a few months ago. Water pump and belt done same time. Car has done about 67000 miles, 10 years old.

Many thanks.

"few months"? No reason not to.
"last week"? I'd be a bit more wary. It's had time for any bad workmanship to shake out.

Receipts yes. Not sure by who, didn't look. Was in a rush to go and see a VW Fox (first time that sentence has ever been uttered).

I'm going to cross fingers all is ok, and will check whodunnit later when I go and see the car again.

Also VW Foxes are a pile of wk.

Yes he definitely said a few months. Course I'll check before I part with any money, and make sure its done a few miles since. Its on a 6 month comp warranty from the dealership, not sure whether that means anything or not in reality.
