I've got hand my lease back next month and the missus has managed to put a lovely great big scratch right across one of the alloys. It's got the turned and lacquered finish on it so I don't think there is any easy way other than to have it refaced and lacquered.

The question is, is the repair likely to cost me more than the lease company is likely to charge me for the damage? It's my first lease so I don't have any experience of charges for damage. Otherwise, the car is immaculate with not even a stone chip.......

Any advice would be greatly greatly received!

Depends on the finance company. I think VWFS only charge 36 quid per damaged wheel on return so it's not worth getting it repaired
