The other half has suggested that I should get another car as she doesn't view my current one as very reliable. it is a 2006 550i Touring and it is starting to have bits fail here and there, with the latest being it needs a new boot switch.
I will be keeping the 550 though.
My decision is:
Do I got for an i3 REX on a 2 or 3 year deal and use the 550 for longer journeys and towing (1700kg caravan) or do I go for maybe a SKoda Kodiaq/Hyundai Santa Fe on a 2 or 3 year deal, use this for daily duties and towing and keep the 550 for the weekends?

With the 4x4 type vehicle I will have to fuel 2 cars. At least the Kodiaq can come as a petrol as I have decided that I will not have another diesel. With the i3, I only have to fuel 1 and a lot of my journeys can be done on electric only.

Will try and get an extended test drive of the i3. If it is comfortable enough I guess I would go for that one. At least it is very different to the cars I have previously had.
